Diamond Triple C Ranch

Steve, Gwen and Wilson Coltrin - owners of Diamond Triple C RanchDiamond Triple C Ranch is headquartered in Yardley, Pennsylvania. Formed in 2001, Diamond Triple C concentrates on breeding the finest bloodlines to produce unparalleled genetics in both suri and huacaya alpacas.

Diamond Triple C Ranch at Echo Valley is 80 acres of agricultural paradise! Using our restored Victorian home and its period outbuildings as a base, we have constructed a new, state-of-the-art barn facility just for our alpacas. We have a delightful turn-of-the-century farm store, Echo Valley Fruit and Fiber (www.echovalleyfruit-fiber.com), where you can purchase unique yarns from the fiber of our own animals, as well as other beautiful alpaca products.

We also have a wonderful farm location not far from Tulsa in Afton, Oklahoma, where our animals enjoy several hundred acres of beautiful pastures amid numerous barns. Diamond Triple C Ranch at Grand Lake has its own farm store and a highly successful breeding program in place.

President
Gwen Coltrin, President of Diamond Triple C Ranch Gwen Coltrin is the co-founder of Coltrin and Associates and is responsible for all world-wide administration for that firm. It was her “love at first sight” for alpacas that formed the cornerstone of DTC. As president of Diamond Triple C, this is a labor of love! She is a long-time fiber enthusiast, having learned to knit, crochet and do needlepoint as a young girl. She is enjoying the “hands on” work with our herd and directing the day-to-day responsibilities involved with the animals' breeding and fiber production. (The proud owner of several antique spinning wheels, she is also learning how to spin!) A lifetime member of ASCAP, she has written numerous musical selections, some of which have been published.

Kids Division
Wilson Coltrin Wilson, the third "C" in the Diamond Triple C trio, is a graduate of Council Rock High School in Newtown, Bucks  County, Pennsylvania, and is currently attending college at Southern Virginia University. A big fan of drum corps competition, he has performed with the Madison Scouts and the Jersey Surf Drum & Bugle Corps playing the mellophone, baritone and the euphonium. He also plays a mean French horn. A well-rounded guy, Wilson holds a black belt in karate, is an excellent writer, and a true animal lover.  He is shown here with his champion keeshond, Omya Ruttkay (or "Mya" for short). Wilson is an integral part of Diamond Triple C.

Update: Wilson is off on a marvelous adventure!  He is in Brazil serving a two-year service mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  We are excited for him!  When he gets home he'll be tri-lingual (adding Portuguese to his five years' of German) and ready to head back to college.  His horizons are expanding, the world is getting smaller, and we look forward to his emailed messages every Wednesday.
