Where Did Our Summer Go?

Where did our summer go? By the time our Diamond Digest hits your mailbox, the kids will be back in school, it will be football season, and you'll be looking through stacks of photos from your glorious summer vacations. We were lucky enough to spend a little time in Hawaii and then attend the Championship Finals of Drum Corps International Competitions in Pasadena, California.

We have had a lot of changes and excitement at Diamond Triple C Ranch during the summer. Our book, Cavern of Babel, was featured at the Independent Publishers' booth at the American Library Association Show in Washington DC. We again had a wonderful response to this clever fantasy novel, and glowing reviews continue to roll in. Check out one of the most recent by Terrie Bittner.

We are in the process of hiring new managers at our Grand Lake property in Oklahoma, and Vanessa has totally settled in managing the boys at Echo Valley Ranch in Bath County, Virginia. By the fall issue of the Diamond Digest, we hope to have profiles on both ranches' managers. We are planning some fun local events for the National Alpaca Farm Day on September 29 at both farms and would love to have you drop by if you're in the area.

Becuase we were so blessed with a healthy crop of females the past two years, we are also selling 'em "off the farm" . . . this website gives you an overview of who is for sale, and we'll try our best to keep it updated.
